Peaceful site

Stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. Such great views and wildlife - even a doe with her 2 fawns which racing around to greet us on our first evening. Excellent walks and good bus links to Blackburn and Clitheroe from Langho. A great site and we'll be back.

Peace and Quiet - Great Views

Another peaceful site. There is no road noise just the sound of nature. Overlooking Whalley and Lango. This is a well kept CL with all the basic amenities that you need, Water at every pitch. Electric is available and metered which I feel is a better option, you can use it or leave it but the pitch price is very reasonable at £20. We managed to use a whopping £4.50 worth of electric over the bank holiday weekend... Very large and spacious pitches, which allow you to pitch whichever way you like without intruding on adjacent pitch. Nicky is a great host, makes sure you have everything you need then leaves you to it. Definitely on our top list of CLs in the local area

Great CL with lovely views

This is a lovely, well kept cl hosted by the very friendly and welcoming Nicky. The views across the Ribble Valley and the Fylde coast are beautiful and if you are lucky enough to be there when there are spectacular sunsets, as we were, even better. We stayed for 4 days and didn't use our car once, there are so many quiet and picturesque walks direct from the site. We also enjoyed the Lord Nelson pub, 15/20 minutes walk away, which has a very pleasant, sunny and sheltered beer garden. Can definitely recommend and hope to return

Wonderful peaceful CL

We loved this site, we booked by email and paid a deposit via online banking. On arrival we were met by very welcoming Nicky, who showed us around, we were the only ones on site, so we were given the choice of pitches, which all have own water and ehu. The views from the pitches in the Ribble valley are amazing. The electric is metered and paid after you leave via email, Internet banking. There are paths directly from the site everywhere with a nearby Resevoir walk. Langho railway station is 1 mile away. This is very much a working horse Livery. Some less able may find the lids of the WC disposal and Grey waste a bit heavy. A very peaceful, relaxing stay. We would return.

Lovely peaceful location

Just returned from a 3 night stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. The owner Nicky is very friendly and welcoming. Great location for walking and mountain biking directly from the site but also some great villages to visit nearby, especially Whalley. Lovely open views from the site with nicely spaced out pitches and very handy having water taps on each pitch. The nearest pub is a 15 minute walk, great food and friendly locals. Will definitely return!

A new site with a lot to offer

A new site in a beautiful spot. The views across the Ribble Valley are great. You can see from Blackpool Tower to the Yorkshire Dales. The welcome is warm and it's nice with the horses and donkeys in the adjoining fields and equestrian centre, but in no way intrusive. While sitting outside the van we saw all sorts of wildlife including deer and numerous birds. The site is on a very slight slope, we used ramps just for fine adjustment. Each plot has its own water and EHU and all are very spacious. The pub is walkable and the local Spar store is a short drive away. It's a new site with some room for fine tuning but it's great base to go exploring the Forests of Bowland and Pendle from and the local walks are great. We will return.
