Peaceful views from a very well kept site
In nearly 20 years of caravanning this is one of the best CLs we have stayed on. The pitches are well-spaced along the top of a sloping field, where the grass is mown as a lawn with the clippings collected. You do need levelling blocks, but these are thoughtfully provided at each pitch. There are lovely views out to the sea. The substantial fenced dog walk, immediately adjacent, is a mown ‘maze’ between shrubs and small trees. There is free wifi; there are laundry facilities and full recycling provision. Gary and Jane provided a warm welcome, together with local information.
The local coast is very attractive with a well-signed coastal path, established about 10 years ago. Our favourite beach was Penbryn, which is reached via a half-mile walk from a National Trust car park. We had an excellent meal out at the 'Pepper Pot' in Newquay, which welcomes dogs.
