Just returned from this site after a very relaxing weekend and I'm not a fisherman, but after this I just might become one. Our pitch overlooked one of the lakes - needed levelling blocks but not a problem. We enjoyed the laid back approach and atmosphere generated by Simon and his staff. We were made very welcome and enjoyed both the site and the on-site café. The views are good from your pitch and our dogs loved walking round the lakes, and opposite the site is LLandegla forestry visitor centre for great walks up to the reservoir and RSPB hide to try to catch a glimpse of the black grouse. The Forestry is also home to some great mountain biking trails. The café at LLandegla fishery serves great breakfasts, snacks and coffee and lovely smoked trout, caught on site. There are good toilets and shower facilities on site. This site is less than an hour from our home in Shrewsbury and we will be back very soon. Thank you Simon and staff for a very relaxing weekend.
