Peaceful spot - very warm welcome

This CL is on a working sheep farm in a very quiet, peaceful location. It's slightly sloping but no problem levelling with ramps. Each pitch has EHU and there were a few water points, plus rubbish and chemical toilet disposal. We only stayed one night on their first open day of the season. The field was a bit wet but the owner rang beforehand to let us know he had a hardstanding pitch the entrance, which he kindly marked out for us. It was lovely surrounded by fields and sheep, with the lambing shed close by (last few days of the lambing season). The owner was very welcoming and we had a good chat about the farm and lambing. There are some great walks from the CL, across fields and hills with views to the sea. We slept really well with the peace and quiet and lack of artificial light. We'd definitely visit again.

peace

Well if you want peace and quiet , this is the place. Half a mile down the farm road , the site slopes so you need leveling blocks . Great views, and a great welcome from Mr & Mrs Bown. The most inexpensive site we have stayed on with E.H.U only £10.00 per night.

No road noise here!

If you want a Cl that's far from the road this is the one. The private road to the site is half a mile long so the only noise is from the farm or the wildlife and farrn animals. There are good views from the site to the north and east, the site is well sheltered from the south and west by old farm buildings and trees. The CPD is clean and easy to use. There are two drinking water taps with excellent pressure. A nice relaxing CL experience

Great place

We have stayed here lots of times and are always made very welcome. The field is sloping and can ,in wet weather, be muddy! The views are lovely and you can-if your'e in the right spot- see the sea! We have heard owls and seen hare, fox and woodpeckers from our caravan. Water and chemical emptying point are on the field so not fat to carry heavy stuff. In fact I don't really want to tell anyone about this place in case it gets too busy and we can't stay when we want to-which will certainly be again sometime this summer!
