We booked in here for a 1 nights stay, but it’s such a lovely site we turned that into a 3 night stop, and if not for prior commitments we would be staying longer . The surroundings are wonderful with lots of birds and small creatures, hares and rabbits playing in the fields also we spotted deer in the distance , yes it's a working farm so you do get the odd tractor, farm machinery going down the farm lane but it’s nothing to worry about and doesn’t really impact on the tranquillity of the site , also it’s a farm track to get to the site a gradual incline but easy to drive on if care is taken. Claire and her family made us feel really welcome and informed us about local interest, places to visit,eat,shops,Petrol ect. There is a washing mahine (small charge) shower, toilets, information table, book swop, Elsan, and grey water waste, 5 hard standings with electric , 4 water taps. (Good water pressure) tv Ariel connections (which are all working) there is WiFi but at times can drop signal but a easy fix with a switch in the laundry, The site is hard core with various sized stones with grass for awnings, I’m regerstered dsabled and use a stick I had no problems getting around. We are dog owners and were allowed to walk dog anywhere on the 400acre farm. For the price Claire charges this is a gem of a place and we will be back . Thank you Claire and family
