The site has 5 H/S pitches, 3 of which are serviced, but do need some tlc being quite rough and sloping. There are views across the surrounding agricultural land and over to the hills beyond Loch Ryan (not visible). The road past the site has little traffic hence the site is very quiet but the farm track up to it is rough and relatively steep when coming off the site. The CL does have a couple of toilets, a shower & a washing machine (charge), free wifi, but the TV connection did not work, and reception was poor with our ariel. There is a Lidl, Morrisons with petrol, and a Tesco at Stranraer about 5 miles from the site. Most points of interest on the Rhinns of Galloway are easily accessed along quiet roads and the Ferries from Cairnryan to Ireland are also a short drive away. Claire the owner, and the children were very friendly and helpful.
