Booked this CL as for our first trip out in our brand new caravan. On arrival Ian and Kevin greeted us with a friendly smile from the moment we pulled up at the gate and were both out helping us navigate the turn into the site. They were really flexible on our arrival and departure time which meant no additional pressure for us given it was our first time. They also didn't bombard us with advice but they let us get on with setting up at our own pace and let us know they were there if we needed them. They even gave us some blocks of wood to keep for our corner steadies and let us borrow some drain pipe for our grey water. Site itself is a nice little paddock with hard-standing pitches and separate area for parking cars. We had the pitch under the tree right by the beck. It required us to rotate the van 180 degrees which was a bit tricky but thankfully we had a motor mover which helped a lot. Pitches are fully serviced and had lovely views across the fields. We could watch the sheep and birds in the morning. Local Spar is just down the road for last minute supplies. They have a security light and an electric gate making it also feel nice and secure overnight. We will be back again in the near future.
