The site is easy to find and access is straightforward. The approach road is quite narrow, but with plenty of passing places. We were the only van on site for the whole stay, which was surprising. The site is a large flat field, with electric points along the fence. There is a tap in the field and the chemical disposal and recycling is by the main house. We went to find the owner/manager to pay and didn't see anyone else all week - perfect for an unsocial old fart like me!! There are 2 pubs within reach, but the only one that can safely be reached by foot (The Valiant Soldier - turn left out of the site and it's about 0.75 miles away) isn't open all day. Plenty of walks around and within easy reach of Minehead, Watchet, Blue Anchor etc. Had fun watching the woodpeckers, small birds and pheasants. Would definitely return.
