A lovely farm experience

After reading the last review of this camp site we arrived with some trepidation but this place turned out to be one of the friendliest and interesting camp sites we had been to. Dog poo was not an issue but you had to aware of chicken poo! Many of the other campers had been there long term and all of them so friendly. We loved the free range chickens wandering about, always up for feeding and delighted by the horses being taken through into the next field. The rescue cob horse called Rosie and her lady owner could not have been nicer. The site itself is reasonably level and surrounded by hedges and a farm building. Obviously we were very lucky with the other campers but they all stay there so long there's a good chance everybody will meet them. We would not hesitate in coming here again.
