Fabulous little site

Fabulous site in a perfect location- next to the river wye. Lovely views. Well thought out site. Loads of room in between vans. Buzzards and birds sounds are wonderful. The river views are delightful

Peaceful river view location

A lovely quiet spot. There is plenty to do around here and the road is quiet enough to walk on. Shame there is no river-swimming allowed!

Beautiful Site

We have just had 7 nights at the beautiful Lyndor. If you are looking for peace, quiet and a lovely setting, this is the site for you. Charles, the owner was welcoming on arrival and happy to chat during our stay making sure we were happy and everything was ok. The site is ideally placed on the banks of the river Wye for fishing and on the route of the Herefordshire trail for walkers and central for Ross and Hereford. Even though the site is on the road side you don't notice the half dozen cars a day that pass. This site is definitely worth visiting.

The most beautiful site you could ever wish for

What an amazing site, if you want beautiful scenery and a peaceful setting this is the one for you. We had some wonderful walks and cycle rides - only 4 miles to Ross on Wye. The owners were so helpful and kind, we had a problem with one of our bicycles and they even bought a chain link and helped to fit it! I cannot recommend this site enough - we will definitely be returning!

Picturesque location

I concur with other reviews as this site is all about location. It is just a shame that only two pitches overlook the river with the others in long grass at the back unless you trail your hook up lead across the field and other caravanners haven't spread out too much. The entrance can be a bit tricky if wet and the disposal point could be better but the situation cannot be beaten.

Can you keep a secret ?

Didn't want to tell anyone about this because it is simply stunning. A paddock next to a tiny road ( 1 car and 10 bicycles per hour ) overlooks the river Wye.Beautiful walks from the site. Overlooked by huge conifer wood but gets the evening sun. Owners came round next day, very pleasant. Bit of a fiddle on approach but wouldn't put me off if I was towing and easy in our motorhome.

Idyllic spot

Stunning countryside, views of the river just the other side of a very quiet minor road, sunsets, wonderful walking and cycling, great pubs all around.  The offer of a traffic marshal (see the CL's own website) should be taken up if you are nervous of meeting oncoming traffic, but that said we were fine.  In every other respect, perfect.  This site should have a butterfly symbol!

VERY Peaceful Site

We stayed here for a long weekend and found the site to be one of the most peaceful sites we have ever stayed at. The access to the site is down a 1 mile single track road with passing places(make sure you follow directions in book). The access to the site requires some speed if the grass is wet. The owner is very helpful on this basic site.

Most Relaxing

We were down there earlier this year in June and found it one of the most relaxing places we have been to.  Am about to book another week.  Lovely scenery, great hosts. No negatives.  Even the access wasn't a problem and we have a wide motorhome.
