Back to our second home

Back to Mably which is like a second home, lovely owners, basic site with EHU and lots of space with views over to St Michaels mount. Great to just nip over the road to country skittles for a meal and a pint or even a game of skittles. Handy for St Ives, Hayle, Penzance and even the Lizard. Some good golf courses near by & fishing. Or just relax on site with a bottle of wine or 2 or a few beers. Our favourite site for Cornwall!

Pretty perfect

Julie is a lovely welcoming CL owner who has this most perfect CL site. Easy access, lovely well mown field, and so so peaceful. Slight glimpses of Goldolphin hill and a great position for reaching Goldolphin NT, Trevaskis, Godrevy, Hayle etc. Clean and tidy water, recycling etc We will be back!

A week in September 2020

A quite site with the basic amenities, the field has a slight slope and the pitches are all along one side. Close to the coast, Hayle and Portleven. I have no hesitation in recommending this site to other members.

A hidden gem.

If you a looking for a CL which is ideal for children and families, then this is it! Centrally located to explore all the southern peninsula has to offer, you could get a better site. The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgable about the surrounding area. We stopped for just 3 nights, as we were on tour, but this would be an ideal CL for a family or couples wanting a 1 or 2 week holiday to investigate all the beautiful aspects of this stunning part of the country.

Too good to share (but I will anyway)

This site is wonderful if you love the Cornish countryside and enjoy the peace and quiet. Large slightly sloping field with pitches at the top end of the field. Julie always ensures the hedge is cut for us to allow views down to St Michaels Mount. Close to St Ives, Penzance, St Michaels Mount, The Lizard and all that's good about SW Cornwall. Services are adequate, just one water tap and chemical toilet emptying with recycling encouraged. Don't take my pitch as I'll be back in 2014 for the 4th year in a row.
