We stayed on this site back in October 2012 but I'm writing up the review because I noticed this CL doesn't appear to have any. The ground, all grass, was flat and firm so siting the van/putting up the awning was easy. There is an adjacent field which the owner allowed to be used for a dog walk. Plenty of footpaths in the immediate vicinity - if you go out walking, try and find the random war memorial in the middle of a field - I think it was for Canadian airmen. Local shops at Hanley Swan and Upton and a pub in a short walk. Dark, clear skies for star gazing - we were able to watch the space station coming over. Overall, excellent value for money.
