beautifully hidden
We visited this site for the weekend and loved it so much we booked again before we left. The site is very easy to get to and directions are spot on. There are a couple of signposts on entering the farm drive showing you where to go so its easy to see where you need to be. We were surrounded by beautiful scenery and could see in the distance the church and part of the village. The dog walking facilities are brilliant, and as long as you keep them under control there is plenty of space to let them run free. Be aware that you are surrounded by livestock and horses though so if your dogs are reactive to livestock you will need to keep them close.
The village is a short walk, 15-20 minutes but some of it has no pavement so be careful at night. We visited the butchers arms and had an excellent meal there at a very reasonable price. Booking is essential for the pub as it gets very busy. Sunday morning we were regaled by the bell ringers at the church and it was lovely.
Great value for money and Mrs Mann is very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommended
