Just got back from 6 nights on this site, our first CL. Having looked at plenty of CL's previously we think we hit the jackpot here. Others have mentioned the road noise and I have to admit the adjoining road is very busy hence only 3 ticks for peace and tranquility, after a couple of days though the road noise didn't bother us. Pleasant greeting on arrival, the only downside was the adjoining farmer had been spraying his field, the smell was awful and lasted for a couple of days, had it lasted longer I doubt that we would have stayed. We live in a rural area so are used to this happening but it does limit you in a caravan when you can't open a window let alone sit outside. The facilities at the site are excellent, cleaned daily and always spotless which speaks volumes for the owner in view of the fact that you have to walk through a farmyard to get to them. All in all the site was excellent and we will return. The location was ideal for us, plenty of walks nearby and easy access to the coast. We'll be back.

We have spoken to the CL owners who want to assure everyone that you don't need to walk through the farmyard to get to the facilities. The toilets and wash block are next to the farmyard and there's no need to walk through the farmyard to get to them. We hope this helps clear up any confusion.
