What a lovely well kept and peaceful site. We only stayed two nights but will definitely be back here and have already recommended it to fellow travelers. (I am only worried that all the good reviews will make it hard to book in future!) We particularly appreciated the spacing of each pitch which is a priority for us and we felt very private. Met by Matt who was very welcoming and gave us all the info we needed but then left us to get on with our stay which is what we like. Lovely dogs, chickens, horses, guinea fowl etc. on site. Easy access to the forest. Very "Covid" prepared with sanitiser and anti-bac at appropriate points. Useful info sheet re walks, just wish I could have borrowed a dog...... We didn't travel other than on foot as this was a "get back into it trip" after last year's lockdowns. Will bring our cycles next time. Local shop/post office friendly. Highly recommended.
