We booked this site for a week beginning of Oct 2019 as a late alternative to a Club Site in Durham due to the bad weather forecast. What a great find it was. We were welcomed with an offer of a cup of tea by the new owner of only 7weeks, Mrs Dougherty and shown around the site and could pick any one of 5 pitches as we were the only ones on site. The site itself has a locked gate for security, was large, level and well looked after, we opted for the hardstanding pitch round the corner. It was very well sheltered and good distances between other pitches if they had been taken. TV and Telephone reception was good. The shower and toilet facility was basic but adequate, the new owners are planning a refurb and we look forward to seeing this in the future. The site is very well placed for brilliant walking using the AA walks of Norfolk, cycling and visiting other attractions. Marriotts Way cycle/walking path is a must as are the quiet lanes and lovely little villages we came across. We can recommend this site and will definitely be back in the future to do what we didn't get the chance to do although we did clock up 50 miles between cycling and walking. So much to see and do in Norfolk - we loved the site and our 3rd of 4th visits to Norfolk itself.
