May Tree CL, highly recommended

Just had another short break at May Tree CL. Very peaceful, beautiful open site, late sun and lovely views. Great cycle rides from the site, with pretty countryside and coastal paths adjacent to the site. Sarah is very friendly and helpful. Can't fault it.

Fantastic ‘Off Grid’ CL

Great communication with Sarah from booking to leaving, giving us excellent directions and a very friendly welcome on arrival. There is lots of space on the well mown field with ‘no mown’ wild flower areas. Walking and cycling is very easy directly from site. Would have no hesitation in recommending the site and will be back in the future.

Another lovely stay at May Tree CL

We've just had another fabulous stay at May Tree CL. The site is open with late sun and far reaching views across the fields. The camping area is spacious and really well kept with a lovely meadow area in the centre of the field. The site is very quiet and tranquil. We take our bikes as this is a great location for cycling with close proximity to Knott End / Fleetwood Ferry. Sarah is very welcoming and helpful. Great value for money too!

Loved it

Having just recently returned from this lovely site - we find it hard to believe it was not full - this site is a must for a peaceful feel good holiday. Sarah and Jon are the loveliest people - we just did not want to leave. When we were there - there was a calf born - and were invited to go and see her and mum in the barn - beautiful. Loved watching the geese line up and go behind the barn at dusk every night - along with the contented cattle in the next field and the amazing sunsets - we cannot wait to come back next year.

A gem of a CL.

We were originally only intending to spend just one night but found May Tree so relaxing, quiet and picturesque that we stayed another night. Everything is well maintained and laid out. Sarah is so welcoming and friendly and will make sure your stay is enjoyable. If your intending staying in this area then this CL will not disappoint.

Quiet peaceful site

May tree CL is a very peaceful well kept 1 acre site, mowed and grass cutting free with a lovely wildflower meadow area left in the middle to encourage wildlife. This off grid site for us was just perfect to spend a couple of days walking and generally having a quiet time .There is walking from the site on public footpaths and quiet lanes All in all this site is perfect for doing nothing but close enough to lots of amenities if that is what you want . Last but not least our hosts were very nice and accommodating... and oh Henry those eggs were wonderful

off grid CL adults only

just spent nine nights at this lovely cl Sarah and John will make you very welcome and are eager to make sure your stay is problem free. the cl is a flat one acre field surrounded by fields located 300 yards from the main road so noise is not going to impact your stay. Sarah and John live just down there private road and leave you to enjoy your stay but are just a phone call away. We will be using this CL again as access is problem free direct from an A road so no narrow country lanes to navigate.

Beautiful little CL.

We've just spent eight days on the site and loved every minute. Very peaceful, just the odd goose or calf but that only adds to it. Sarah is very welcoming and helpful and can't do enough. Recycling point and the toilet emptying point are among the best we've come across. As Arnie would say "we'll be back". Pat and Terry Bloor. July/21
