Great CL, very helpful owners

Stayed over Easter in our motorhome. The CL was great, flat grass, water and power at each pitch & in a good location. Toilet and shower were very clean and looked quite new. It’s been done properly unlike some other sites! It poured with rain on the Sunday night and unfortunately our van got a bit stuck as we tried to leave, but Richard and his wife towed us out with their tractor - thanks so much! Good location near the coast and the village. Would stay again

Great CL

We visited this lovely CL in August for 4 nights, we meet the owner Richard who showed us where would be the best place to pitch up our motorhome as the ground was very wet, nice site with the added bonus of shower and toilet, it was a shame the road up to Donna Nook was closed for repairs all through you could still drive to the carpark thro the narrow lanes on the diversion, nice walk to the local pub for food all thro its on the road but not busy, good area to look around but was very busy near the coast.

Very Pretty CL

Stayed here for 6 nights in early September. The site itself is very pretty with plenty of room for 5 caravans. The small trees give each pitch a sense of privacy, and it is so quiet, which we love. The facilities are very good, just make sure you have a £1 coin for the shower - you get 6 minutes, which is plenty for a good soak. Area is typical of the Lincolnshire Fens ie Flat, but it is very pleasant for walking and cycling. Every so often you get fighter jets practising bombing runs on the coast just up from the site, which fascinating. North Somercotes has a couple of pubs and a co-op, which is very handy. Site run by a friendly owner, who has good local knowledge.

Bill and Becks Coastal Adventure fab stay

We are walking the coast of Britain living in our camper. This was an excellent site, fantastic welcome, so we'll maintained peaceful and tranquil. From the site you can walk along to Donna Nook to see the seals or North of the Coast. We walked through The village out to Saltfleet a superb walk. Two very friendly pubs in the village, a coop and take aways. Definitely recommend this site and thanks for making us so welcome especially as we were the last of the year.

Perfect site for us

We stayed here in our caravan for 10 lovely nights in September. Site easy to find and access, just outside the village of North Somercote, on the road to Donna Nook Nature Reserve and military air firing range. Site beautifully flat, well mown and appeared well drained; and awning pegs went in easily. Large pitches seperated up a little with trees and shrubs, you can park how you wish. Water tap and EHU connection on a post on each pitch shared with next door, so take a splitter if you want to connect your water container direct to the tap. All waste facilities kept clean and tidy, in seperate compound close by, but discretely surrounded by trees. Site very peaceful and heard owls close by each night. Some occassional noise from aircraft using the firing range during the day, but worth going down to watch.Very clean shower (£1 coin), WC, washing machine and dryer (also £1 coins) in room a short walk away. Owners very friendly and helpful. Shops, pub, restaurant etc in village and plenty to do in the area. Will definately stay again.

Superb Site

We have just spent 3 lovely weeks at this site. Booking is easy with prompt responses. Lovely large flat pitches so you can park at any angle, Grass is kept immaculate Toilets and shower are also kept immaculate clean. Water taps are readily available as is the waste disposal area which does offer recycling bins. The site is very quiet with nice walks around the village, Free parking is available at nearby Donna Nook nature reserve with lovely walks and views up to the Himber estuary...you could walk as the access road is very flat. Richard is extremely helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble..... customer service at its best. Local amenities are available in the village which is a short distance away.. In our opinions the site offers very good value for money Thank you Richard for our lovely holiday and we shall see you again next year.

FAMILY WEEKEND

We spent 4 days here over the weekend with our extended family. What an absolutely gorgeous location, very little road noise, lots of wildlife and a good stroll to Donna Nook Nature Reserve. There were 3 caravans on the CL, some family in holiday lets and others in B&B all in Meals Farm. In all 18 family members accommodated. The new owners Richard and Jayne were very friendly and helpful. The CL was a large grass field with water and two EHU points on 3 bollards so water was very close and we managed to each be serviced using a splitter. Lots of space for the younger members to play ball games well away from the caravans. The family members in the holiday lets and B&B were very impressed with the high standard of the accommodation. A public house with real ales a short walk away added the final touch. We have all booked to return next year.

Lovely peaceful site

We've just spent 10 days on this delightful CL. Linda, the owner, was very helpful as we had to change our booking dates which she did with no problems. The site itself is a large field with surrounding hedges - flat but a bit uneven in places. Piches are not marked so it's easy to be well spread out. The facilities were spotless. There are several interesting local places - the Donna Nook nature reserve is a couple of miles away and well worth a visit. There's a nearby farm shop (Holmes Farm) which sells excellent meat raised and butchered by themselves, lovely home cooked pies etc as well as local produce such as vegetables and fruit. They are only open Thurday - Sunday however. We hope to return in the future although it's bit of a trek from the West Midlands.

A great four days

This is a very well kept site, all grass pitches. Enormous space for five caravans. It has three power and water posts spread about the flat field so your choice of setting up is unlimited. i would suggest taking a double tap connector for a fully serviced feel to your set up. One clean unisex toilet and shower. There is also a washer and dryer for your use. Local shops incude Coop and take aways and as you would expect the village pubs are friendly and serve good food. Definitely on our return list
