Highly Recommended

Beautifully kept site. Open level grass site (without the nuisance grass cuttings), views over the fields, plenty of room. Excellent toilet & shower facilities, with information also. Only downside was the chemical disposal point. The tank was only covered by a metal cover, consequently the sight and smells were not at all pleasant - it was very warm and the flies made it uncomfortable. But all in all a very good CL and one worth visiting.

Just Right

We spent 4 days here earlier this week, site was clean, flat and well drained, loved the fully serviced pitches, there were toilets and showers, which were clean and tidy, we went down to see the seals at Donna Nook, which was just a mile down the road, they were amazing (all 2000+ of them) the site is open to the elements, and when it's windy it's very windy, but the Linda cannot be blamed for the weather, overall a good, we'll planned, clean, flat site, would return if in the area.

A gem

We stayed overnight to visit the seal sanctuary at Donna Nook. The location could not be better - within walking distance if desired. The facilities are as we hoped and expected and we hope to return. A possible bonus is that non-camping friends could also join us, staying in one of the cottages or with B&B as there are a variety of other attractions in North Lincs. Thoroughly recommended.

Own personal site

Stayed here last weekend for a couple of nights, arrived late owners not in but rang the number on the door and they explained where to go. Drove round the corner and the site was lit up with bollards to each pitch, it was easy to choose as we were the only ones there. Lovely flat pitches and water to each, it was great, our 2 year old granddaughter and 3 dogs loved it. Will try to book again next year when the weather is a little warmer.

great site beware of 'midges'

Its the first time we have been to this site, the grassed area is massive you could site twice as many vans. beautiful area very peaceful, shower & toilet good & clean. We have just come back & had wall to wall sunshine. But if you park next to the 'beck' then beware of MIDGES we unfortunately didn't realise until too late & were bitten to death. That was the only downside to the visit it really is a very nice site in a beautiful area. Dog walking you are just 2 minutes in the car from Donna Nook a nature site where the dogs can run free for miles. We really did enjoy the site it was just the Midges that spoilt it for us!.

Another Grand Week at This Tranquil Retreat

What can we say , that hasn't already been said before. This is our 2nd week long visit to this little peaceful site and we love it. If you want a peaceful break within easy reach of all the east coast Fun spots , then Meals Farm is a great base, we love walking with our dogs and this is ideal for all the walks and beaches. We will be returning again for sure. Thankyou Linda and Howard for giving all the clubs members a great site to visit , Regards Vince , Sarah and the 6 dogs x

Excellent CL

Nice, quiet, peaceful, clean, tidy, easy access, nice owners. A relatively new CL and our first visit there, but it will not be the last. 8 minutes in the shower for £1 is adequate, even with two small grandchildren to see to. Bins and waste well screened and newly planted trees around the site. Will be very private when mature. A shop within 2 mins drive that stays open till 10pm 7 days a week, easy drive to Saltfleet or Mablethorpe. We really liked this friendly CL as a family and will be sure to book again when the kids are not at school, or without them when we just want to veg out in peaceful quiet surrounds.

Superb quiet retreat

Just back from this superb CL site, with a fairly last-minute booking; the owners were very welcoming and the facilities are excellent. The site itself is large- the five vans on site were well spread out, with plenty of space between (a good 20 or 30 metres!). There are three service bollards, with night lighting and EHU, as well as a water point on each- so that it really makes setting up easy. The site is perfectly level and surrounded by clusters of young trees, of varying types. As these start to mature, it will give even more privacy between units. The shower facilities were immaculate, as were all the other parts of this site. We were impressed by watching the activities of Barn Owls swooping low over the surrounding fields hunting, while there was an abundance of wildlife. The site is very handy for Donna Nook- an outstanding area to visit- we effectively had the whole beach/salt flat to ourselves for several hours of walking. A brilliant site which we will be returning to soon.

A secret paradise

What a beautiful site to stay at, Linda and Howard were very helpful and welcoming to us and our 6 dogs. Facilities were great , a lovely spotless shower room , Toilet , Ironing and washroom. The field was immaculate and well maintain. A superb base for countryside walking and nature lovers but also a great base for families for seaside resorts of Mablethorpe , Cleethorpes and Skegness, our personal favourite was Sutton on Sea. We will be returning shortly.

Caravan Club SITE in minature

Possibly one of the highest standard CL I have stayed on. Well cut grass ,electric and water on illuminated bollard at the pitch. Immaculate toilet and shower, information room, washeteria and ironing board with iron. Clean and tidy waste disposal. A warm welcome from Linda. The whole property (cl, nursery and holiday cottages) is maintained to an exceptional standard. Four peaceful days, with our two dogs made very welcome
