I attempted to stay at this CL on Friday 29/07/2016 after using the booking system and paying on their website. When I arrived at the CL the owner was surprised to see me and informed me that the online booking system should have been disabled and they didn't know I had booked. But once checking they found I had paid and gave me a refund. This meant I had no site to stay at on a very busy weekend and I was hours from home. I went to another site just up the road and they had no availability either. But they also informed me that this had happened a few times before to other people at that site!. So I find this situation unacceptable considering that it had happened to other people beforehand. They have now removed the booking system from the site. Which should have been done before I booked so I didn't waste a journey.
