Just back from a tour of Gloucestershire, Devon and Somerset and had to write a review of this CL Site – Metcalfe House at Compton Dundon in Somerset. What a lovely CL If I was to describe a chocolate box village sprinkled with thatched properties and a lovely pub within walking distance people would think I was dreaming. This CL is in such a village. A lovely location not far from the M5 and within easy reach of Glastonbury and Yeovil. John the owner is constantly looking to perfect this CL and we loved our short stay there. Easy access, secure, spacious pitches each with their own water supply and electricity point. Bus stop in the village to Street, Glastonbury and Yeovil. We had a lovely meal on the Sunday in the local pub the Castlebrook Inn. We will definitely be back. Dave and Joan McCaddon
