What a lovely location once you are in the entrance was interesting but we made it and loved the view and general friendliness of the whole site .Lots of lovely walks for people with plenty of energy. We had a great time the first time visiting wales when it hasnt rained .

Excellent start

This is the first time that we have used our membership and can't be more pleased. The site is everything that it says on the tin, tranquil, peaceful with stunning scenery on it's doorstep. We took the coastal path to Rhosilli and the views are simply gorgeous. The site has easy access to the costal path and we found the walk easy going. The walk to Port Eynon starts with a steep decent and a steep climb.. But it's worth the effort. The welcome was warm, our pitch was level and we found the entrance easy to navigate (in a lwb campervan). We know the area very well and would recommend the King Arthur for lunch or evening meal. Be careful if attempting the walk to the end of worms head... The tide can come in quickly. There is normally a sign with times at the coast guard hut near the point. Parking at Rhosilli is free if you are a national trust member.

Idyllic location

Stayed here June 2019. Highly recommended. Spectacular walks along cliff tops from the campsite. Large pitches. Owners very friendly and helpful. On the Saturday night we heard some bizzare tuneless community singing nearby. The next day we found out there had been a "silent disco" party in the local community hall.

Fabulous site with charming hosts

My husband and I have used this site a number of times and will continue to do so as long as the owners are prepared to share it! CL's are run by busy people and I think sometimes club members forget that they do it more for love than any financial gain by the time they've gone through the aggravation it also brings. It is tricky but not impossible to access; we use a Landrover Disco and have a 4 berth Clubman so by no means a small set up. I'm hoping one day it gets stuck in the field so we can stay :) Long may Beryl and Gordan share their beautiful site.

An escape with a view!

We stayed here for two weeks from 12-26 July 2019. We had no problem getting into site with our Vigo. We went past the site about a .5 mile and turned around in a bus turning area and came in from the other way. As we entered the site the view was stunning. Looking over a wild flower meadow and fields down towards the sea. Beryl came out to greet us and gave us an information sheet and although on a slope, we managed to level with no ramps. We loved the PYO strawberries and raspberries a few miles down the road. We didn’t stray far from the site as we could walk straight out onto the coastal path and down to the little bay at Mewslade. We walked to Rhossili over the coast path for gorgeous and very generous size ice creams. Climbed down to Fall Bay on the way and played in the waves. Worms head is a must although it was quite arduous to get right to the end. Rhossili Down is good walking too, if it’s hot you get the breeze as you’re up so high. Doctors and Chemist quite near and a Premier shop selling most things. We don’t eat out much but there were places about. Fish and chips were brilliant from Port Eynon. We have never had such a relaxing holiday and will return.

Not sure if I should be reviewing this CL!

We wanted to stay for a couple of nights at this CL. As we had left the booking quite late I asked for anything in the next couple of weeks to be as flexible as possible. At this point the man who answered the phone started telling me off as he told me I should book for a week so that other people are not inconvenienced. He continued saying how difficult a request this was using mild expletives. Not wanting to continue the conversation I made my excuses and disconnected the call. Now I am a great supporter of our CL network, but really I just wanted to book a pitch in his field. I got the impression that this was a great inconvenience which makes me wonder why advertise the CL at all. I hope that I would have been treated like a valued customer instead of a nuisance. I don't think I will be going anywhere near Rhossili in the future so there should be plenty of pitches for anyone else just as long as you pass the interview/interrogation.

Great location

As others have said the access is tight so wouldn't like to be a big outfit. A motor home was leaving just as we arrived so we had to reverse quite a way to let him out. The field slopes down so levelling blocks are required. We were with friends and only stayed for 2 nights and would have liked longer as it was so peaceful. The owners were very friendly but there was a mix up with our booking, even though I emailed 6 months previously. It was sorted eventually even though they thought they had over booked. The walk down to the bay is a short distance away and on our 2nd day we walked to Rhossili Bay which is absolutely beautiful. We were blessed with great weather so made our stay here extra special.

Site good BUT access very difficult particularly with anything other than small caravan

Rather difficult access for caravan - very narrow and with a sharp turn. Site good with access to Gower coast path. Close to Rhossili

Wonderful, peaceful site

We only stayed for two nights on this lovely site but will definitely go back for more. It is wonderfully pretty and peaceful. The views from the end field down to the beach are beautiful, the walk down not suitable for all but so worth it when the tide is out. We also walked along the road to Rhossili and Worms Head which were stunning. A delightful stay!

Great location, lovely CL

Just spent 5 nights on this CL, as described the area is stunning, the views are terrific and the coast path is close by. Please take note of the instructions regarding the entrance, it does require a wide swing. The owners are friendly and helpful, we took one of the lower pitches and needed help from their Land Rover to leave after 2 days of heavy rain. The Worms Head Hotel is a 10-15 minute walk and does nice real ales and reasonably priced food. We love the Gower and would definitely return.
