Despite a lack of facilities (just a couple of taps, bins and a drain) this was possibly the nicest site we have ever stayed on. Easy going friendly owners too.
A bit of a slope but very quiet and lovely child friendly and dog friendly beaches close by with lovely views from the site. We only went for a week but the area was so nice we stayed on for two and that is a first for us and the site was ideal as a base.
Don't follow the satnav though! Work out the route in advance via main roads that connect almost to the door (we did the satnav tour with 10 miles on tiny lanes for no reason)! When you finally approach South Milton turn into the village via the A381 half way between Malborough and West Alvington (and not via Upton which is so narrow you will be touching the hedge with the caravan on both sides of the caravan at the same time). To get to the site you have to go right through South Milton village as if heading for Thurleston and and it is half a mile the other side and just beyond a little Nursery with green houses (great pick your own tomatoes and plants for sale).
It is one site I am sure we will be visiting again.
Relaxing
We made a last minute booking here as no real opportunities for wild camping in Devon, well why would you wild camp when for £5 you can have a lovely relaxed stay here with great views and a walk through the fields to the most gorgeous beach.Kingsbridge is lovely by the river.
I would definitely recommend this CL.
Great week at Mill Farm
Mill Farm is in a beautiful quiet valley with sea views. Alison and Graeme were very welcoming and refreshingly relaxed.
The site is on a slope but concrete blocks were available for levelling. We will be back
