Just had a glorious week at Mill Farm Fishery with Mr Derek Beales. Field is spacious with plenty of space for the largest of caravans and awnings. Facilities although basic are adequate & clean. Mr Beales is a joy and so laid back he is almost horizontal. Take time to get to know him and he may share some of his fabulous home made wine with you, as he did with us on several occasions. If you like coarse fishing this is the place for you. At £5 a day on the two lakes stuffed with Carp, Tench & Roach (competitions permitting) it is an absolute bargain. I caught over 80lb of fish in a six hour session. If there are matches on there is also a third lake you can fish for free with lots of smaller fish up to 3 to 4lb in it and a great place to teach kids to fish. Attleborough is only 5 mins away with lots of local bakeries and butchers selling local produce also Lidl & Sainsbury's supermarkets. The local shop (2mins walk) is great for that morning paper, fresh bread and any essentials for breakfast. The Crown pub is also 2 mins walk, serves great food and is very dog friendly both in the bar and beer garden. We have already booked a two week stay next year which is testament to how good this CL is.
