Ease of arrival/welcome

A friendly warm welcome

We wanted hard standing for our first trip of 2019 and our first visit to Somerset. We were met by Rita, the owner, who was very friendly and accommodating. It's a bonus having a small farm shop selling fresh eggs, veg, homemade jams and chutney and absolutely delicious meringues. We enjoyed walking from the site, picking up bridleways by walking across the farm's fields to access them. Hood's Monument and the strangely named Lollover HIll were lovely walks providing views of the Somerset Levels. A bus passes along the busy road at the end of the drive to Street and beyond to Yeovil and Wells, so very convenient. A lovely area to explore.
