Beautiful CL

What a beautiful CL in a gloriously scenic part of the country. We were on a trip to visit the nearby Clarks Village shopping outlet to get the essential back to school items and found this CL from a search. A quick phone call and booked in. On arrival the owner, Rita came out to meet us as we pulled off the main road into the farm house entrance. She then proceeded to walk ahead of us opening the gate into the gravel drive toward the pitches. We had a choice of 4 and used no1 to catch the sun. Large pitches with hook up. 2 sets of water taps, one at each end of the CL. The rubbish bins are novel and are clearly identified for the types of waste in each 'locker'. The chickens greet you as you approach. The geese run away. And the cows and bull let you know they are there. Brilliant for the kids to learn of farm animals. We had family visit on one day, a glorious day outside under the canopy chatting, chilling and cooking outside on the cadac. We went to nearby Street for the necessary shopping. As you climb out of the village you crest the peak to be met by a fantastic vista taking in Glastonbury Tor. Other spectacular views abound. The trip was crowned with purchasing delicious chutney, jam, cheese and pickled shallots from the farm shop. Brilliant. We will make this the annual back to school CL going forward.
