Ease of arrival/welcome

Lovely site with a warm welcome.

Spent 4 nights at Millway Farm in June 2021. Rita, the host was very welcoming, and her shop sells all sorts of goodies - including some of the best strawberries (local) we have had for years. Site and facilities are very well kept, and although just off a fairly busy minor road, is very quiet and peaceful. Ducks can be a bit exuberant though, when first let out in the morning ! Beautiful walks straight from the site - Rita and Des are happy for campers to walk across their field to the lane - making a good walk to the pub in Compton Dundon via the hamlet of Dundon in the evening a possibility. There are buses to and from to Street, Glastonbury and Wells from the end of the lane, except Sundays. (we caught the 9.30 out, 4.00 back to Wells). RSPB and National Nature Reserve at Ham Wall are well worth a visit. We gave the site a solid 10 out of 10 !
