My wife and I have just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely CL. This was our first stay but won’t be our last. Although on a small working farm don’t let this put you off as the farm activity did not impact on the CL. The pitches are all hard standing and the facilities such as the drinking water and disposal area are well kept. The views across the fields to Whitby are stunning and there is a public footpath which links to the Cinder track, an old railway line which is now a well used public footpath. The distance is approximately 3mls. The village of Sneaton is small and quite although it does have its own pub which is less than 5 mins walk from the site. Unfortunately it was not open during our stay. Also try an ice cream from Beacon Farm next door which makes and sells its own ice cream. The site is easy to access and is a great base from which to explore this area.
