Lovely view!

We stayed here for 5 nights, the site faces a beautiful church and we loved watching the sheep with their baby lambs! It’s very spacious and there was only one other caravan there. Lovely owner who popped by to see us. The only downside was that the site was very water logged and got worse the day we had to leave. If we didn’t have a 4x4 we would have got stuck in the gateway! Very wet and muddy, car and caravan got covered in mud. The drainage really needs sorting as it’s such a lovely site. A little bit of road noise, but didn’t bother us. Very easy to find, use Google maps not sat nav. Very dog friendly, ours was in her element.

Very Peaceful

We stayed here for 3 nights and had the field to ourselves, it was very quiet with only the occasional tractor going past. The toilet was across a yard which is gated at night with pedestrian access. A 10-15 minute walk to the village to The Three Kings pub (closed Mondays). Very friendly locals in the bar which served excellent food at a reasonable price. Although the field is flat it is very bumpy! We were charge £14 a night inc electric but this will be going up in the future. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Great little site

Stayed over for one night breaking our journey down to Norfolk, absolutely ideal stopover place, nice level field overlooking the sheep and lovely views, very peaceful and the farmer was lovely, would definitely recommend.

Excellent for a stopover

We stayed here twice as a stopover going to and returning from the Lake District. Easy to find with wide access. Level grass field which had just been cut on our first visit. We were unable to fill the motorhome with water from the stand in the field as our plastic connectors would not fit the brass fitting. However there was another water house outside the toilet. Toilet a bit of a walk across the field and muddy farm yard. It was spacious and clean. No shower. Not able to use after dark as the farm yard gate is closed. All round good value.

Pleasant site

We stopped here for a night on our way home from touring Yorkshire. It is a lovely flat site , with firm ground -essential for a motorhome. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We backed onto field of sheep and lambs- great fun watching the lambs. It is within walking distance of the pub in Threekingham, but as we had had a long day we didn't go there. We were sorry we had only one night here but would love to come back again , on our travels.

Nice site

We wanted to try out our motorhome so decided to come here for one night. The field is nice and flat with firm ground. we parked next to the field full of sheep and lambs which was nice to watch. The site is quiet with plenty of room and the toilet is clean. We would come again in the future.

Peace quiet and fluffy little lambs

We decided to stay here as its not too far from Nottingham (about an hour) and also on a farm (we do like our peace and quiet)  We arrived and called the owner who told us to pitch up and he'd come and see us in an hour or two.  The camping area is great, nice size and we'll kept, we were also the only people here.  There were hundreds of sheep and lambs in the adjoining fields which has given us hours of entertainment.  We didn't do too much whilst here other than a couple of short walks around threekingham and one though the forest. Other than that we just enjoied the views.  Oh and the weather! Not bad for the end of March, sunny and warm!  We will certainly be back.

Great place for a stopover

Quiet well managed tidy site, flat, very easy access, short mown grass. I arrived and left in the dark both days so can't say I explored the local area.......that wasn't why I stayed. I asked for a corner away from others as I have dogs. The owners had left a notice in the corner saying "Please reserve this corner for Ann and her dogs" - what more could a dog owner want?  One warning, DON'T put the postcode in the SatNav, put the village (Threekingham) the site IS on Mareham Lane..... but only 300 yards from the A52. The village is one side of the A52, Mareham Lane, going towards Sleaford, is on the other!

Excellent Site

We have just returned from a second visit to this site and second time around it was just as good as the first. A great pub is a short walk the EHU,s are well spaced out so there is plenty of room to park up. The toilet facilities are clean, we will be back again for another visit.

peace and quiet

We have just returned from the most restful weekend we could have asked for. What a wonderful site, with lovely owners. So quiet, just the noise of sheep and birds. Heaven!!. The site is also a great base to go to the surrounding towns. We also used the walkway across the filed to the local pub. The food there was lovely. We will be back!!!
