Stayed here for a week in October Fantastic location with wonderful views. Owners could not be more friendly, welcoming or helpful. Communication before we arrived was also very good Site is spacious, gently sloping ( plenty of levelling blocks available), some pitches are fully serviced, all have their own fresh water tap. Toilet/ shower facilities are basic but clean TV reception was good. Site can be quite exposed in high winds - it’s called Mooredge for a reason! Lovely walk across the fields to Crich, or you can walk via the road into the village too, with pubs, general store and fish and chip shop. Crich Tramway Museum and Crich War Mermorial are both within easy walking distance and are both well worth visiting. Many many more things to do within a close distance, including Matlock and Matlock Bath ( illuminations in October are excellent and our reason to visit at this time), and lots of lovely walks.
