We made a late booking, calling Denise only a couple of hours before arriving at this hidden gem of a site for a one night stay. We were made very welcome, and although the weather was not brilliant (hill mist and fog!) the site, surrounded in lush green fields and woodland was perfect for us to relax for the evening. Molly(the retriever) came and checked up on us in the morning, leaving us to enjoy a very late breakfast. With no blue sky but a warm morning none the less we decided we would definitely return and give ourselves more time to explore the surrounding countryside, maybe bringing our bikes next time.
