This site is well organised both on site and booking procedure. All facilities are there within easy access. It was useful having a tap at pitch. We didn't use the shower which was in a building at the side of the farmhouse although it looked good and others used it.. The only downside to the site is lack of views, but it is within easy reach of the Lancaster canal and shops. We used the on-site café which served excellent sandwiches and cakes. We used Guys Eating place twice which served good Italian style food quickly. We also used the Plough at Eaves which served good food. We went at lunchtime. Near to The Plough we found an excellent farm shop/ mini supermarket - Honeywells where we stocked up for coming home. The owners are friendly and helpful.
