We were travelling up to Galloway and never travel more than 3 hours if we can help it. Moss Thorn, 5 miles to the west of Penrith fits this need. Its roughly 3 miles from the M6 and situated on the approach to the farm. All you need is there and the owners have really suffered this year due to the virus. We had a warm welcome, pitched up and found a puncture on the van. Greenflag were with us within half an hour. The area was pretty soggy so we were glad of the hardstanding. Apart from going into Penrith for fuel from Morrisons we didnt do much as the weather was vile. As staed good overnighter with pleasant owners and plenty to do.
