Lakeland base
A one night stopover en route to Scotland, this site is conveninetly placed with easy access to the M6 and just a short drive to Ullswater and the northern Lake District. I would certainly be happy with a longer stay at this pleasant site. Keswick and Carlisle are within half an hour's drive. Gently sloping pitches should ensure good drainage and no problems if wet weather was predominant.
