This Cl is easily access being about 3 mls from the M6. It has a wide entrance off the quiet B5288 from Penrith to Greystoke and has 5 H/S pitches, some of them newly laid, with EHU, views over the adjacent fields and a toilet. Although there is no dog walk on the site there's a broad grass verge from the gate for about 100 m to a farm track ideal for walking ones dog(s). Penrith, 3 mls away, has all the usual supermarkets. The site is handy for exploring the northern lakes, being about 8 mls from Ullswater and 15 from Keswick, and Rheged, the Lakeland Heritage Centre is only 4 mls away. At £10 pn this site is a real bargain and we will certainly return.
