WELL-PLACED AND WELL-KEPT SITE

We stayed at this site for the first two weeks in June and found it easily accessible and easy to find following the instructions in the Club handbook.   Ideal centre for exploring the Northern Lakes and the Penrith area and for the M6 to Scotland. A well-organised farm, with hardstandings marked out and lovely views. .   As "townies", we enjoyed watching the grass being cut in the fields and then being piled high in the barns;  and a horse being shod - we now have one of the old horse-shoes hanging on our wall at home. Good pub, the Boot and Shoe, nearby in Greystoke. Would certainly return.
