Our favourite CL by a mile

This was our 3rd visit to Myndydd Mwyn Mawr staying for a week at the end of May. The site is well cared for by John and Sarah with superb facilities normally found on a Club site. There are 3 toilets, 2 of which have showers, and a washing up room with hot and cold water and a washing machine. Next to these is a games room situated on the upper floor of a barn. This has free Wi-Fi access, pool table, table tennis table, TV and games. We used this quite a lot on our stay. The site slopes slightly down towards the game room but blocks are available. Each pitch has it's own water tap and grey waste drain. With the site being quite high, the views are superb - Snowdonia and Rhosneigr both visible on clear days. John will quite happily site and level your van for you with his Land Rover while Moss the dog watches from the passenger seat. Entertainment comes in the form of Jess the dog who wanders up to the site and loves playing football with kids. The CL is ideally located for exploring the island. Llangefni, Trearddur Bay and Holyhead all 10 to 15 minutes drive away. The nearest village is Llannerch-y-medd is 1.5 miles down the road and has a McColls shop, pub and chip shop. We're can't wait to revisit next year.
