Just As We like it!

Although not far off the A170, this is a surprisingly peaceful site, tucked away down a tiny road with grass growing in the middle!! There is no sign for the CL at either end of the road, just at the actual site. The acre field is well maintained and is mainly hedged. There is some hardstanding, which being in a motorhome at the end of September, we took advantage off. If it had been very wet, I doubt we would have got on it as you have to drive over the field to access it. Plenty of electric points and recycling by the bins and chem disposal. The views are looking towards Whitestone Cliff, over which the local glider club fly, making for some good entertainment.Sutton Bank is very close, which we didn't actually drive over as we had no cause to travel east. There are some nearby Abbeys and Shandy Hall garden which we were too early in the dayto visit. A definite re-visit is in order!! In the evening we heard owls and watched a hare gently cropping. The owners didn't come for the rent so I had to call at the house, which is just across the road. Altogether, a very nice site.
