A Hidden Gem

This is a beautiful site, hidden in the grounds of a faded country estate. The site is located in a walled garden, adjacent to a Pele tower. It is rather basic at present, but electric hook ups are planned. The grounds are lovely and it was a pleasure to walk our dog through the woods and along the river. Luckily I like the smell of wild garlic. The manager, Miss Eileen Boyle, is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about the estate. There is a bit of noise from the nearby road and occasionally from the nearby railway line, but only minor and you probably won't notice it above the birdsong. We'll definitely return.
