Campsite in the Orchard!

A very warm welcome and beautiful, peaceful surroundings characterised our stay. The facilities were clean and adequate for a CL site. Good walks from the site and, although not on a bus route, it’s worth a trip to The Fountain pub in St Michaels! We certainly look forward to returning in the future.

What you expect from a cl

Just what you expect from a cl. Peaceful, quiet. Helpful owners going above and beyond. It's a cl next to a static van site so there is traffic coming and going in front of you but it's a small price to pay. Good for dogs, no off lead area though. Would go again.

Lovely walks from site

Steve, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful on arrival allowing us to more or less pitch where we liked on the large site. The small town of Tenbury Wells is a pleasant walk across fields and boasts an excellent delicatessen as well as a café to eat outside in these strange times. It is always good not to have to move our MH from the site and we were able to walk directly from the site, although did come across several instances where the footpaths clearly on our OS map were not visible on the ground. We hardly ever met anyone on our walks so feel this area is underwalked and yet the scenery is quite lovely. TV reception was pretty hopeless but who cares on such a peaceful site.

SUPER SITE

We store our caravan here and regularly stay on site as it is spacious, well kept with friendly owners who are always welcoming. The hardstanding pitches are a good size and if you prefer a grass pitch you have this option. Tenbury Wells is a lovely town with individual shops and cafe's /tea rooms. A nice pub with good food just up the road from the site and a superb Indian restaurant/takeaway in the town. What more could you ask for! All in all a great site, great welcome, good facilities, peace & tranquility. One of our favourite places.

Lovely Site

We stay on-site on a regular basis as we also store our caravan here. The site is well maintained by the friendly owners. Gas bottles are available to purchase onsite and there are toilet and shower blocks as well. Tenbury wells is a lovely little village, or you can head into nearby Ludlow or Leominster. We've visited the National Trust properties which are just a short drive away too. Overall a very relaxing and welcoming site.

Another Excellent CL

Warning...if travelling from Tenbury, through St Michaels the entrance does rush up at you at the top of a small rise past the church and it's immediate right - check on Google/Bing etc. Having said that this is a lovely, peaceful Cl with loads of space to spread out either on hard standing or grass. Water and electrics nearby (though a 25 m cable will be needed) but the waste water/bins and toilets (never used or even checked) are a short 150 metre walk away. Walks directly from the site which is a bonus. We were at the top of the site and got about 20 TV channels - but no ITV, Channel 4 or 5. But there again, does it matter!

Lots to recommend this CL

There is lots to recommend this CL. It is really well situated for walking into Tenbury Wells as well as the Clea hills. Steve the owner is really friendly, very welcoming and helpful with any information about the area. The CL is on the driveway into the farm as on the picture. This is a good space where you can use the hard standings or the grass. There are a large number of static caravans adjoining the farm not really an issue but does make everywhere look a bit crowded. Just beware there is barely a TV signal and the EHU is 8 amps so expect the mains to trip out a lot!!

Ideal CL site

Nice site with clean shower & toilet facilities. Owner Steve very helpful & friendly. To get a good tv signal just pitch your outfit at the top of the site for a good signal. The owner was very helpful as our hook up lead was a little short from the PowerPoint but he lent us an extension. Ideal location situated in a lovely tranquil part of the country. Would definitely use this site again. Thank you Steve
