Just back from a lovely peaceful and relaxing weekend. Very friendly welcome. Huge field that a commercial site would put 15 units on. Fenced and hedged on 3 sides which gives good shelter if its windy. Field next to site has horses, chickens, geese etc. lovley mown grass, with fresh water and chemical toliet facilities in farm yard. Very warm welcome from couple who own the site, and very understanding when we where held up on the friday as partner had broke down on way home from work, so our arraival was delayed. Site is at the end of a dead end road so there is no traffic, only sounds you hear are from the farm animals which is lovely. Views are rolling fields, other farms etc. Great old railway walk within 5 mins walk of the site. Ideally placed for Eyemouth, Bambourgh, Holy Isle etc. Village from site is under a mile away and has a local shop and a coffee house/restaurant. If you are looking for a really quiet site that has easy access to the A1 etc and has plenty room for 5 units i would recomend this one. At £5 a night it was a bargin. Have came home feeling that we have had a lovely break. Will be going back in a couple of weeks for the weekend as only a hour from home.
