My wife and I booked a five night stay on this CL after reading previous reviews. As an understatement, we were greatly disappointed to find one caravan on the site which was totally unoccupied and a further two caravans used by workers who were leaving the site shortly after 6.00 a.m. We were there at the end of November and looking forward to a relaxing and peaceful time, the weather was freezing and the workers were running engines to defrost their vehicles outside our caravan window. Doors were banging and they were talking extremely loudly on their mobile phones. We suffered this for three nights and then informed the owners that we were leaving. As a point of interest, there had been no welcome or contact with the owners since our arrival. Prior to leaving, we visited the house, no one was there so my wife called the owner on her mobile phone to let them know why we were leaving. We have since submitted a complaint to the Club. Our advice is that if you are considering making a booking, please ensure there are no workers residing on the site. The owner never thought to let us know about this and we will never consider staying on this site again.
