This CL was just what we wanted, walks along the river Thames and 2 pubs nearby - literally at the end of the field
Bit noisy from the traffic but it did quieten down at night
The owner very friendly
Defiantly be back

Great little CL
Booked up really last minute for the Bank Holiday weekend and had a really quick response back. Great value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely use again.
Awesome little site
Very nice site for us and 2 dogs, 2 pubs outside the front entrance of the farm. Very simple but effective.
Lovely simple site
Does exactly what it says on the tin. A basic site, but very good value and just perfect for our overnight stay. A little bit of road noise, but not particularly disturbing. A very short walk to two pubs is great.
Really good basic CL
Stayed September 2020 for two nights. Excellent location for good walking especially along the Thames which is so close. Tried the first of the two beautiful pubs and it was excellent with good COVID arrangements and a wonderful terrace overlooking the Thames. Good flat flexible pitches and views across open fields to the very traditional farm buildings.Road nearby is busy but not an issue and very quiet during the evening and night.
Site close to River Thames
Basic flat site but everything to hand. Convenient for walking Thames Path or fishing. Monday to Saturday bus service passes the site with connection at Southmoor to frequent buses to Oxford or Swindon. Site fees collected. Some road noise but not really a problem. Would recommend
Great location with lots to do
Lovely little CL within walking distance of two fantastic pubs/restaurants. There's lots of fun to be had on the Thames and Windrush if you have a canoe and it's very private when you're on site. Great for walks along the river and getting into Oxford by car is nice & easy. Nearby road gets a little noisy at rush hour otherwise would have gone 5 stars throughout!
Nice little basic off grid VFM CL
We stayed here May Bank Holiday weekend 2015 for four nights.
I knew this CL was by the roadside after viewing on Google earth, however it was not as noisy as we expected.
The grass is cut to a good length but clippings are not collected so if its damp cutting do find there way into van.
As a previous review says ...phone signals are haywire one minute you will have 3g then no signal at all this is on ALL networks if its vital you need a phone look elsewhere as the service here is very unreliable.
There is plenty of walking right from site I can recommend the Mosaic Trail just over the bridge opposite the pub. The CL owner said as guests of the farm we could walk the farm trails too. From the site you can walk to the Thames path for a pleasant stroll watching the boats, We spotted one called DILLIGAF ...and the owners gave us a wave as they passed it looked like they didn't give a DILLIGAF. We can recommend this CL its a good spot to stay did I mention the river side pub 150 yards away? Best of all this site is only £6 a night (May2015) If you like off grid CL's give this one a try
Great little off-grid spot. Few buts...
Spent 4 days here in November 2014. The directions to the site are beautifully accurate and uncomplicated. The "Certificated LocalPlacesOfInterest" board at the entrance is fading a bit and hard to spot at twilight... But the swing in is wide and un-cluttered.
The site is flat we got away with no need for any levelling kit.
Tap / sluice / rubbish disposal are tidy, uncomplicated and easy to use.
Phone signal is odd. I got plenty of 3g from O2 for most of my stay but hardly any phone signal. SMS was possible about 60% of the time. The phone signal from 3, on the other hand, was quite good for most of the time... but no data from this provider at all. Frankly is was quite nice not to have any calls from those PPI morons!
I was committed to a 4-day event in Witney so did little else other than drive to-and-from this town... which is very pretty and well served with filling stations, supermarkets, chippies and a range of independent retailers.
I did not meet Nick Frost but he was very flexible in permitting payment by BACS - which was very convenient.
