A very nice site

This is a lovely little site. No-one bothered us at all. We paid in advance and were told to just pitch up when we got here. We didn't meet any staff members. The site is within a sort of farm-cum-zoo place so there's lots of strange beasts to look at. There are a lot of little businesses as well, a monumental mason, a brewery, a café, all very interesting. The TV reception is excellent because you can just see Pontop Pike transmitter to the south, and all the pitches have a clear view of the Astra satellite, despite the trees, which in fact are to the north of the camping area. There were lots of people walking around with dogs (some sort of dog training was going on I think) which was rather jolly. The only complaint I have is that the taps are hopeless for attaching a hose so I had to bungee the hose on to fill my tank.
