Great CL site

We had a great stay on this site, easy to find and great facilities for a CL site. Owners are very friendly and helpful, we loved meeting the alpacas and donkeys. Nice to see recycling facilities on site and lovely dog walk around adjacent field which was very well kept. Little bit of road noise, but it didn't bother us too much. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great friendly site this is,

WOW what a beautiful site this is, so easy to find, access was easy and only 2 mins off the A14 had a nice warm welcome, showed us where everything was on arrival, lovely cut grass, plenty of room between vans, easy access and room for a large set up, Francess was so kind to let my 3 year old help feed the Alpacas and stroke the sheep and donkeys, and not forgetting the cat and dog, lol, shame we was only there for 1 night but will be back later this year hopefully for a longer stay, Thank you from Rhys, Neysa and Lucy

Delightfully peaceful small campsite

We spent one night in our motorhome at this lovely little campsite just outside Kettering. The couple who run it are both friendly and helpful and the spacious pitches (we were on grass, but it was good and firm!) had easy access to EHU and water. It's a shame that there is no shower or toilet facility but there is a chemical and and grey waste disposal point which is all one really needs. The alpacas, donkeys, sheep and the resident black cat added to the overall ambience of this lovely little site which we shall certainly visit again if we are passing this way.

Good site

Good site. The field surrounded trees, there were 2 hard standing pitches the remainder grass. Easy access to electric and water, although grey and chemical waste a little distance away in farm buildings.

Lovely dog walk available around nearby wheat field with seating available for those who need to take a rest

Site is convenient for those travelling on both A1 and A14. Need to follow direction provided, as Sat Nav route was not the easiest.

Hidden spot

A lovely hidden site on the outskirts of Kettering.Coming back to to caravanning after 20 years , confidence had gone and wanted somewhere local to start again. Could not have picked a better place , extended our stay to 5 nights . Fantastic size pitches and plenty of places to walk the dogs . Owners were very welcoming and helpful. They made my grandchildren’s day by letting the visit the alpacas. Have already booked another visit, can’t wait till we return again. Thank you

Lovely place to visit

This site is run by a lovely couple, it is a family run farm with sheep and Alpacas. There are a number if places to visit in the nearby area, (Children especially will love West Lodge Rural centre, for adults try Boughton House, usually open to the public in August); or a number of Country Parks and Wickstead Park for traditional rides and activities; we go to visit to see family and enjoy days out. The site is protected on one side by a hedge and the other a row of Poplars as a windbreak allowing you to choose sunshine or A shady pitch if you prefer, there are 4 grass pitches available and two hard standings (in the sunshine). Yes there is a background noise from the A14 across the valley but that also depends on wind direction. Water and bins and EHU posts, all waste water needs to be taken to the drain so there is no contamination for the livestock. Several nice pubs in the villages (Be prepared to book in advance) and Supermarkets about 10 minutes drive. Well worth a visit.

We have Family in Kettering so it is a very handy campsite for us. Easy access to Site and very friendly Owners. Our second time of staying here and we shall be back again.

Northfield Farm

I stayed one night in my motorhome to escape the fireworks with my two nervous dogs. The site was far enough away from Kettering that bangs were only distant but close enough to be handy for town. There is noise from the A14 but I didn't find that interfering. The grass pathed dog walk around the field was very handy and the views in the frosty morning were pleasant. The two generous, level, hardstanding places have hookup, mine included a little gravel path to the hookup and water tap so you don't get your feet wet. The grassed site was mown and well looked after and the alpacas and donkeys were lovely to see. The site owners evidently love animals. Most of all, I was made welcome and in the morning when I discovered a flat battery, the family helped me charge it up just as they were going out. I'd like to thank them again for that and hope to see them again for more peace away from fireworks.

A Great Site

Easy to access and easy to find a short distance from the A14 and located within easy reach of Kettering with all its facilities. The site is surrounded by farmland and is private and peaceful and although there is a constant hum from the A14 it didn’t bother us at all. There is a generous lawned area providing ample pitching options and two hard standings. We loved the opportunity to walk around the adjoining field which is ideal for dog owners. Thoroughly recommended.
