We have just returned from 6 nights at Northolme and had a really lovely stay, its a beautiful site and just loved the birds and wildlife, Keith and Pauling were so welcoming and couldn't do enough to help and settle us in, It certainly is a gem of a site and nice to be so near the water - fabulous

We found a jewel!

Just...WOW!! On arrival, we received a very warm welcome from Pauline & Keith, including a lovely cuppa before we started setting up. We booked in for a week, but ended up staying for 10 days, as we loved it so much. The location is so peaceful, and the fishing was fabulous. My husband and I ended up fishing most days, and luckily the weather was gorgeous. The dogs, Bonnie & Clyde, loved the freedom at the top end of the site, and enjoyed the walking and new smells. Clyde was like a pig snuffling for truffles! The site provides all the basics that anyone needs, is quiet, but close to the coast for families. Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes can be reached within 20-30 minutes. We will definitely be back, and with the grandchildren in tow next time. What a fabulous countryside jewel. Thank you Pauline & Keith for one of the best caravan holidays so far! From Lynne, Gary, Bonnie, & Clyde.

Cannot fault it!

Lovely level open site, easy access. Have to repeat previous reviews/comments. Keith & Pauline very friendly owners, spacious grass pitches £15 per night. Very clean toilet & shower room in prefab building which also houses kitchen area for washing up, plenty of books to lend and dvds, tourist info. Fine all round views, very quiet tidy site. Fishing on the lake still only £5 per day (exclusive to caravan owners & Keith himself of course). Duck & hen eggs to buy.

Just lovely

I'm not sure I should share this as I might not get booked back in! This is such a lovely cl site. we were there for May BH weekend. We phoned in advance to say that we might not be arriving until 9pm - not a problem. We made good time and were welcomed warmly and offered a lovely cuppa (which was welcome after travelling). We were told we could pitch any way we preferred as there was plenty of room. there was plenty of space for each pitch to please themselves and still have plenty of room to sit out. The fishing pond was immediately in front of the van area. Keith and Pauline are the loveliest couple of cl owners ever. They are always on hand for a chin-wag,advice on the area and general info. The site is well maintained - has toilet, shower, and many other things (dvds, books, first aid kit). They are happy to provide towels if needed. A real gem. Well worth a visit. The site is very child and dog and cat friendly! Even got a lovely goodbye and then a wave off site as we left.

Lovely site stayed for 2 weeks July/ Aug 2017

Great site central for touring the area, Clean, well kept with plenty of room given to each unit, The owners, Keith & Pauline are two of the most pleasant and helpful people you could meet, Welcome you to the site with a nice cup of tea or coffee, guide you to were you want to pitch, as long as your hook up cable can reach, Even offer to help you to pitch your awning. During our stay I had a problem with my car, Keith gave me the name and phone number of a repair centre in Louth, Arranged a date and time, Keith went down with me in his car and brought me back. When my car was done" at a very reasonable price" Keith ran me back down to pick it up. He would accept nothing but a thank you. Many Thanks again to Keith and Pauline. I don't fish but other people praised the fishing lake. Will See You Again. Joe and Jean McKane.

Lovely camp site lovely people.

Having visited the site a few times and only living 32 miles away we now regard Keith and Pauline as friends. Always welcoming with a cup of tea and a smile and the fishing good too.

what a gem - lovely owners

what a gem of a site. The welcome was genuine and warm. Keith and Pauline couldnt have been more helpful from the outset. Sound advice from Keith as to the best place and technique to catch his excellent selection of fish. Some wonderful fishing, ranging from good sized carp, barbel (that one kept hubby on his toes with a fight). Between us one night we had fish in double figures and double figures in the weight of the carp too. Even the family dog was made welcome. Who could wish for a better site. Beautifully kept and the toilets and shower were spotless, with fresh towels available to use should you forget to take yours in with you. The site, the facilites, the fishing, the area all excellent but the thing that makes this even more special... the owners,Keith and Pauline. Absolutely. Thanks for a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing chill out holiday.
