I have just spent a week at Norwood. It is a very laid back and peaceful CL and it was a relaxing experience. Sometimes you can hear noise from the road, but unless you stay on a CL at the end of a long track or very rural road, this will always be the case. The road noise was not disturbing. Access to the site is quite narrow; you do need to take a wide swing. Another guest who stays regularly said that it is possible to carry on down the road past the CL where there is a turning point, then access is much easier with the site on your right. The CL owner was away when I arrived but a peg was left out on our pitch and the other CL users came over to make sure we knew where everything was and see if we needed any help. Some vehicles do travel fast on the road that leads to local villages so I would not have felt comfortable walking along it. However, it's a short drive to the nearest village and Wadebridge is ten minutes at most in the car. The area is absolutely lovely. Lots of gorgeous beaches, cliff top walks and culinary delights can be experienced.
