Ease of arrival/welcome

How disappointing!

We stayed here for 5 nights in November 2014. Finding the site was easy enough, and it's pleasantly secluded. That for us was where the positives stopped. There were already 5 vans on site when we arrived, 3 of which appeared to have been there for months and 2 weren't occupied at all during the whole stay- doesn't this breach the CL rules? We couldn't find the owner so had to ring them to find out where the electric supply was - silly me for not looking at the back of overgrown bushes and brambles. Then we couldn't find the water, until a neighbour pointed out you had to disconnect the supply to the horses in the field and use that- charming! We got settled down on a wet field but with good views- great we thought. Early the next morning umpteen vehicles started pouring down the caravan field road to use the nearby paintball wood, no health and safety applied here. I'm not adverse to a bit of noise but it was quite substantial at times! Then the dog started barking uncontrollably and on looking out I could see 5 camo clad paintballers running though the site- now that was a bit much!!!! After telling myself it was a one off- the paintball in was on for 3 days out of 5 and my plan to walk the dog in the woods that are "occasionally closed" for paintball according to the site blurb -we're closed for business! The only good point here was the closeness to attractions such as Bluewater  and ease of access to the motorway. Did I enjoy our stay- No Would I come back- not if I could help it. Good value for money- yes if you can tolerate the above?
