We arrived in the snow and were met by Andy who was extremely obliging putting us onto a hardstanding for the weekend, my sister and brother in law joined us later in the evening and we had a very pleasant weekend at a very relaxing site. It could be easy to miss the turn into the location but the postcode was very accurate on the satnav. A toilet block and EHU is available, the toilet block was warm and kept clean. A lovely walk around the fishing lake and along the river was very nice on the Saturday and we were not disturbed at all during a fishing match on the Sunday. Down the road is the Haxey Gate pub, recommend the Sunday carvery but advisable to book. If you are looking for a chill out this spot is ideal, we shall be back soon.
