Booked on the morning to arrive that day, Lovely big pitches with individual electric hook up and water.......a real luxury. The site was quiet apart from owners dogs barking and there happened to be a party near by. Owner was apologetic, but not really their fault about the party. Very spacious pitches and a good size field, but a bit like being in the back garden...albeit a big garden! One Motorhome got stuck on the wet grass, but the owners and a friend brought wood, a towrope and eventually 4 guys managed to get the van out.....grass pitches might not work in wet conditions. We were glad of the motor mover to get our van out and had no problem at all. Site backs onto woodland which was a little worrying in the storm we had but no branches fell! The footpath alomgsode is 10 mins s to another lane And further footpath Access along the single track was no problem as so many passing places. Site is on the same lane.....fairly quiet, we had only cars Go past before 9am.
